Good Value Outside the Village

If you are willing to stay outside the Vail village, this is a great option. There are two bus routes that service this location so you don't have to pay rediculous parking fees. Also, the garage has room for midsize utility vehicles. Otherwise, the parking lot is tight.

Location to gondola not as advertised

The property itself was fine, the only comment is that the living room carpet was stained and a couple of end tables would have been nice for the couch area. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Extra bedding, towels, soaps, garage parking etc. were great. The problems is that I rented this place BECAUSE the ad said one could “stroll” to Lionshead Village and the Gondola. NOT IF YOU ARE A SKIIER IN SKI BOOTS! Which is why one would come to Vail in mid March! It is much too far and there was no mention in the ad of needing transportation to ski. I would have looked further for accommodation with that amenity. I have traveled extensively and normally there is information in the unit. There was none except a number to call for info. No code to the pool/spa area. After calling our local number I was told it “should” be open, it wasns’t. It took two days to get that. No info on garbage disposal or the shuttle which we needed to use since we were not “walking” to the gondola. Yes, we had a number to call, but who wants to spend vacation time texting and calling mgmt for info that should be readily available? Again, the unit itself was fine, this is not a comment on the owners, but the management and the advertising.

Great property, nicely furnished, very clean and well prepped.

Trily enjoyed the entire experience of renting, staying there and checking out. Vacasa was always immediately available to answer questions.
