"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. "The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."
