The issue is that it is a little far from Lucca and/or any center, so I think they could help guests by putting a bottle of water in the room, and/or having some coffee/tea (they provided coffee pods for the first day only. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "Small and friendly hotel within walking distances of Lucca walls and river. Staff treated us like royalty- nothing was too much. Needed a dip in the refreshing pool after humidity of Lucca. Breakfast was brilliant and even had bacon and scrambled eggs."
