"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wildlife was spectacular including both animals and birds! Our host Kat checked with us several times to make sure we enjoyed our visit! There are may places to explore in the area including the drive over highway 337 with its spectacular views!"

"Moondance Hacienda is amazing, quiet, beautiful views and relaxing. There are two of everything in the kitchen as described. There are plenty of games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Our family ranges from 9 to 84 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and do whatever they liked. Bill and Carol were wonderful to work with.
