"The breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, porky patties, grits, biscuits and gravy. Cereal and a fresh yogurt maker that was very good. I can’t remember if there was fruit. A staff member greeted guests and continually monitored the breakfast area. Our room was nice. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the floor in the bathroom. The corners and baseboards were neglected. The gals at the registration desk were friendly and fun. The laundry area was clean and worked well. There was a note that the pool was closed. There was a nice grocery store within a block and easy to walk to. Air conditioner worked well and was quiet."

"I'm not sure why this property has such a low rating. I thought it was just fine. Yes, its a little dated but its not like 1990's dated.... It was clean, quiet and I felt safe. Parking was ample. The breakfast was good. I go to Vicksburg twice a year for business and this is my first time staying here. I have stayed at other hotels in the area with higher ratings and they were awful. I'd absolutely stay here again."
