Ein familiengeführtes Hotel was vor wenigen Jahren komplett neu saniert und modernisiert wurde. Die Lage zentral in Utersum auf Föhr ist klasse. Der gepflegte, große Sandstrand ist fußläufig in 12-15 Minuten erreichbar. Mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten. Auch mit dem Auto kein Problem. Kostenloses parken direkt am Strand möglich. Das Hotel hat ca. 18 Zimmer in verschiedenen Größen zu vergeben. Die meisten mit Balkon oder Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und es fehlt an nichts. Die Zimmer sind modern, aber auch ländlich und maritim eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Alles im Hotel ist sehr sauber. Besonders die Zimmer waren blitzblank. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und mit guten Matratzen und wertiger Bettwäsche ausgestattet. Ein schönes Bad war ebenfalls vorhanden und ebenfalls super sauber. Der TV war ausreichend groß. Wir hätten uns noch die Möglichkeit gewünscht, dass Smartphone koppeln zu können, um z.B. seinen Streamingdienst nutzen zu können. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen im Hotel waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man wurde täglich mit einem gutem Frühstück umsorgt. Kein Buffet. Am Vortag Frühstück auswählen und dann an den Tisch bringen lassen. Sehr gut und nachhaltig. Auch das Restaurant im Hotel verdient ein großes Lob. Wir hatten dort 4x gegessen und wurden jedesmal sehr satt und es war richtig lecker. Fisch, Fleisch oder Gemüse - alles von guter Qualität und frisch gekocht. Preise dafür sehr moderat. Sauna und Fahrradverleih auch vorhanden. Top!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel, nettes und freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant war super. Das Einzige, was wir nicht so toll fanden, war der Kampf um die Parkplätze, die waren immer knapp.

Schönes Hotel mit sehr gutem Frühstück! Unser Zimmer war etwas dunkel, aber auch die günstigste Kategorie-und schließlich ist man ja nur zum Schlafen dort. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Mit dem Rad in wenigen (3-4) Minuten zum Strand.

Ein rundum nahezu perfektes Wochenende im Waastwinj. Vom Personal über die Ausstattung, die Sauberkeit, das Ambiente und das Frühstück- es gibt viel zu loben und nix zu meckern.

The owners are simply extraordinary hosts. Everyone is gotten known and personally attended to. In our case, my father and I came to Fohr to do some genealogical research on our family and they introduced us families with our name who we ended up befriending.

Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Es wäre schön gewesen, bei Rückkehr von einer Fahrradtour gegen 16 Uhr mal ein Erfrischungsgetränk zu bekommen. Die Gaststätte macht jedoch leider erst um 17:30 auf. Eine Art "Biergarten" wäre auch nicht schlecht gewesen. Dies wurde auch von anderen Urlaubern so gesehen.
