"Lovely accommodation in a quiet setting. Nicely kept grounds so we sat out in the evening after we arrived for a drink. Restaurant on site visible from the outside of our room. Friendly staff. The room was set up for our arrival, sofa bed and double as we were travelling as a family of 4. Great kitchen and bathroom areas."

"We liked the property and had a great nights sleep in The Star Wars room (No 17) great IF you are a fan! Very clean and comfortable with lovely bathroom. It was a very hot night but there was a good fan in the bedroom.Unfortunately unknown to us it was a Saturday and a Saints day ( frequent in France) so bar and bistro were closed ( as was everything else in the village)and we had to check ourselves in. Thanks to google we drove out and found a nice little place to eat and drink. Breakfast was a lovely continental one and we met our host who was extremely pleasant. Good value and great for an overnight stay."

"It’s a great location as it’s on the edge of town which is handy for a UK driver. The room is cleaned every day, it has air conditioning which is a must in August. It would be better with a kettle in the room so I can make my own coffee and they could do with some new towels. Would stay again."

"Great house for families, we met Thomas briefly after check in. He generously provided a welcome basket and extra tractors for 2 year old to play with. Well equipped house with lots of space. Good for peaceful countryside holidaying, large garden and many games and activities. Nearby river canoeing from Ruffec. Certain aspects need a little tlc but you will have a great time here"

"Amazing Location, everything you need is close by, the house and garden are beautiful, and we could not praise the hosts enough, they really went out of their way to make sure we were ok and were very helpful. We will definitely be back, thank you Jo and Jamshid"

"We like everything about this beautiful place! Pool is great! Breakfast is great. Plenty sitting areas outside for relaxation by the horses or under beautiful trees by the terrace. Staff is great, we love that it is a family running the business. Very nice people. This was our second time there and we will go back for sure."
