"We had a poor experience here. The heating in the cottage didn't work, so we were uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. We asked for help as soon as we checked in, but the host was unresponsive. There were small beetles in the bed, there was a leak from the base of the toilet, and the front door lock was faulty, so locking and unlocking the front door was tricky. Everything felt damp. We haven't heard anything back from the host when we identified these issues."

"The house was new and spacious. We had five of us staying there, and we had plenty of room and privacy. It was also a quiet location, so we got a good night’s sleep. And it was close to the bus lines so transportation in and out of Durham was easy."
