"We asked for three beds and was given a very large room with 3 beds. Room was clean and the security guards at the metal detector were so eager to help me on looking for the bus route to the museums and parks I wanted to go. It was the guards that help me not the reception clerk, they did not know anything and did not bother to look for it on the map or do anything at all. "It’s supposed to be the nicest hotel in Urumqi - and it is in terms of the physical property itself. Nice clean and well maintained decor. Location is not bad. However, a few things that are not fitted for a hotel of it’s status: 1. The concierge is located at the ground floor entrance and not at the upper floor lobby next to the reception. The concierge also doubles as porter so there is no one at the concierge desk if he is bringing luggage up to rooms. 2. WiFi is super slow 3. The A/C control in the room does not work. It remains at 26 degrees no matter what you do to the control dial. "
