"We had a double room with shower. Amenities were simple - shower gel, shampoo and body lotion, kettle and some packed coffee and tea. The bed was a little too soft for my liking and the shower/toilet a little tiny. The breakfast was the standout feature and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location was easy to get to though if you are driving, finding a parking is a little challenging."

"A lovely hotel. The room was excellent and the on-site restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was equally excellent. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it was difficult to find anywhere to hand up our clothes after a very wet journey, there wasn't a grab handle in the shower (which I need) and as the hotel is encased in a large church and there was no external branding, we couldn't find it though it was right under our noses!"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful even during busy times. Convenient location an easy walk from the train station and there were a lot of places to sho and eat nearby. The room and bed were solid. Doesn’t have Air Conditioning which wasn’t an issue the weekend we were there but that’s the only reason for caution"

"Die Hausbootvilla ist einzigartig. Umfangreich und luxuriös ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich des Hausbootes mit der Terrasse lädt zum Relaxen ein. Es fahren tagsüber viele Boote vorbei und es wird nie langweilig. Giethoorn selbst als Venedig des Nordens bezeichnet, verdient diesen Namen. Die Abwicklung der Reise war unproblematisch und ok."
