First off, I have been coming to Urbana Inn & Suites 3 or 4 times a year for the last several years. I have always enjoyed coming from Chicago to enjoy the superb service I get here. It's always for two nights. The first night my daughter and granddaughter stay with me and we enjoy the pool. This will be the last time I stay here. Let me list the reasons why.
1. Walking into the room we were smacked in the face with the smell of mold.
2. The air conditioner was so congested that it barely was blowing air out. I had to take the one filter out and wash the massive amounts of dust on it and the second filter was missing.
3. The pillows smelled like greasy hair.
4. We went to the pool and the space where the vending machines are smelled like something died in the garbage can.
5. In the pool area itself the lights were off. I had to turn them on.
6. The garbage can in the pool area smelled just like the one by the vending machines.
7. There were no towels in the pool area.
8. Breakfast was horrible. Nothing that was usually there was there. It was waffles and some other food but not a variety of anything.
9. We asked to used the breakfast room to play some card games and was met with a feeling like we were bothering the desk person.
10. There was blood on the air conditioner.
11. Broken legs under both beds.
12. The hair dryer was clogged with dust.
13. The shower head is full of mold.
14. The place where the garbage can was in the room was filthy on the wal
