This was an excellent place to stay! My wife and I drove down from Cleveland to do some antiquing before New Years Eve and it is in a perfect location. This historical home is very well maintained and the attention to detail is fantastic. The bed was amazing and slept better here than we did at home! Ron, the owner, was a pleasure to have conversations with throughout our stay. He truly is a genuine man and could not have asked for a better stay. Will plan to stay again in the summer. The hotel was close to our activities near Bellefontaine and the hotel itself was modern, clean and had a nice bar area with televisions that showed the sports teams we were wanting to see. Staff were very nice and helpful with information about the area. The room was extremely clean and amenities very nice.

I did not like that the gift shop was "woke" with predominately lgbt and "pride" merchandise. Foreknowledge of this would have influenced our decision.

Overall the stay was good. One reason I can't say great is because it is under going remodeling which is a good thing. Our rooms didn't seem to be updated yet. We had one suite and one standard room. We stayed for 4 nights and the beds were never made up in the room with the suites. I wasn't staying in that room. I wasn't told from the family members that were staying in that room that the beds were not being made up daily until the last night. I did not address it with the hotel. I am...
