This is a beach and part of the national park. If you look closely, there is a torii gate on the small island off the beach. Looks like an impending storm is approaching so we decided to proceed to the sand dunes which I came for. Luckily for me, no storm at the dunes!

"Such a nice place! Very relaxing onsen. My partner and I went there for one night, the room is very nice with it's own seating area (two chairs and a table) by the window. There are yukata's by the entrance where you can pick one out and use during your visit (I totally wanted to bring one with me home, but didn't of course) There is ping-pong included, just write your name down at the time slot you want to play. "一泊朝食付きで滞在しました。暗くなってからのチェックインでしたが、なかなか良い雰囲気の門構え。エクスペディアだったのでスムーズに入室。入湯税150円だけ追加で支払いました。説明の際に朝食が7:30からと言われ、早くチェックアウトしたいと告げたらすぐに15分早めていただきました。忘年会シーズンで宴会場？は賑やかだったものの、温泉は貸切でゆっくりできました。全ての設備は古いですがとても良い雰囲気を楽しめます。小さな日本庭園もあります。朝食は上品（質素ではなく）で目でも楽しめました。寒い日でしたので、朝から湯豆腐が出てきました。時間があればもっとゆっくりいただきたかったです。鳥取に出張の時にはまた利用したいです。"

"まず、ご飯が1泊２食付きと書かれていたので、鶏鍋やすき焼きなどが選べると思ったら、強制的に鶏鍋の予約になっていた。結局アップグレードして（一人2000円追加）すき焼きにしたが…びっくりする位量が少ない!! ハチ北の他の宿に泊まってすき焼きを食べたときの半分ほどのお肉しかなかった。（画像で3人分です他にはご飯しかありません。）そしてお肉が硬かった。あれは本当に但馬牛でしょうか…？きっと但馬牛でもかなり安い部位なんだろうな…。これでは楽天とかの方が安いので損をした気分です。あと、卓球などができる憩いスペースがあったんですが、こちらにあるコタツ、ストーブ（コンセントが抜かれていて届く場所にない）使わせる気がないなら、置くべきでは無いのでは？体脂肪率や筋肉量を測れる高い機械があります！！と部屋にあるパンフレットに記載があったが故障中。そもそもプリント用紙が入ってないので使わせる気がない。これ、本当にハチ北で1番良い宿と言われるひさ屋でしょうか？客層も20代半ば位の若い子が多くて… 少しガッカリでした。もう泊まりません。"
