"This is our second visit to Blue Horizon. Another fantastic stay, felt like coming home. Love the addition of the summer room, especially great on a rainy day. Lots of walking routes directly from the property. We explored Portland, the quarry park, walking to Portland Bill along the coastal path. Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property."

"Very well furnished and laid out property. Definitely will appeal to someone to get away from it all even a strong phone signal and the gps can't even find the street! But peace and quiet with the lovely aroma of the gardens with fresh cut flowers in every room made it all worth the drive. The only noise you will hear are the sheep and cows in the fields and the very rare passing of a tractor or one of the neighbors in their car. "We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "
