It needs updating and a good dust.The Wi-Fi was hit and miss, with more miss than hit.The lounge/living room windows sound like someone’s playing an accordion when the wind blows, but it’s cosy and warm, with a powerful upstairs shower.However no details on how to leave the property when it’s time to leave."

"Unfortunately I had an unpleasant stay at the Middlegate Hotel - I stayed for 2 nights in Sept. 2025. There was very loud music playing late into the night (until 11pm) on a weekday which made it impossible for me to sleep. A band playing very loud music right under my room. This is not acceptable and made my stay at the hotel a miserable and a very negative experience. And during the day there were strange people coming by my window and looking into and inspecting my room thereby violating my privacy. Again - this is unacceptable. Thirdly, the shower was out of order and of course no one was present at the reception. A functioning shower is essential as well as privacy and quiet night time."

"We had a great stay, wish we had stayed another night. Everything was as described, except for the fact that the listing says there is a dryer - but we did not see one. To be picky, the main bedroom is very cramped, but no big deal as location and the rest of the apartments were fine. Tom was very responsive to any queries, so super comms on his slide. Would recommend the apartment."
