Macquarie Waters Boutique Apartment Hotel

"We stayed in a standard hotel room on the way to QLD and a larger 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen and lounge-room on the way home. The mattress was more comfortable in larger room. However on the way home, we arrived at 4.30pm and noticed the front door did not open but someone was present at the reception desk. As someone walked out of the hotel, we decided to walk in, thinking there may have been a problem with the doors. The male at the front desk walked up to us and announced “we have now closed” and we explained we were checking in. Then he advised us “thats why we have the lock box bear at the front door”. Very unprofessional, we felt like an inconvenience, he wasnt at all happy but proceeded to get the key out of the lockbox at the front door for us. Very disappointed with his attitude, given we were driving home after the most traumatic time in my life, attending my mothers funeral. The highlight was meeting a lovely couple from the Gold Coast around the corner at the Royal Hotel who we ended up sharing a table with and we had great conversation."

"Great place to stay We arrived after hours but was no hassle to receive the key . Very comfortable bed and plenty amenities. Definitely recommend The Med at Crescent Head . Such an insane beautiful place. Highly recommend !!"

"The Property was just what we needed with our small Dog! Out the back of the room it had a nice courtyard for the Dog! The Room was nice and big! Parking was outside the door so all in all good!👍"
