"We stayed one night before heading in to Algonquin Park the next morning. It was exactly what we needed - clean, affordable and in the right place. We could tell that there have been recent renovations and that some spots still need to be updated (older table and chairs), but the recent improvements/investments appear to be in all the right places - newer plumbing fixtures, newer beds and fresh linens - so it felt clean and safe. Great price! Breakfast was decent and had some good variety to allow for choices for our family with kids. I hope the recent investments pay off for them and they get to finish the remaining updates. Glad we stayed there, and we would stay there again."

"This hotel is nicely situated in Arnprior, within walking distance of the historic downtown area. The front desk receptionist was very pleasant, understanding and helpful. The hotel is showing signs of wear & tear & age; I felt that there could have been more effort given to the cleanliness of the room flooring & the bathroom. It would benefit from a bit more attention. However, we were grateful that the hotel allowed dogs and that our room was big enough for 2 adults & 2 dogs."
