"Stayed 4 nights. On the second night, there was loud music and jumping from an event until after midnight, and it was impossible to sleep in our room. When we called the front desk, they said they could not do anything because the event had its own contract. The next day, they apologized, said it was a mistake, waived that night’s charge, and moved us to the 3rd floor. However, that did not make up for losing the next morning’s work due to a headache and lack of sleep. As a 100-year-old hotel, the walls are thin, and noise travels easily. Cleanliness was also below expectations. Overall, stay one night if you want to experience a 100-year-old hotel, but not more than that."

"Room was clean and the hotel is under renovation but the last few times we’ve been there we never see any renovations in the rooms we are assigned. The lobby and restaurant, lounge are well designed, nicely decorated and modern looking but the guest rooms need redecorating desperately, they look worn and dated. Front desk staff, bar & restaurant staff and the valet staff were excellent!!"

"We love this hotel! It feels smaller and very service oriented. The staff were amazing! The Gold service was absolutely excellent with a wonderful breakfast each day and friendly and professional Concierge. The location of the Fairmont Winnipeg is also perfect for all sorts of walking or exploring cafes, bars and restaurants in the Exchange District. Love it!"
