"A lovely night away including a delicious meal at the Cow and Plough. The walk around the grounds was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the animals.A couple of comments: hooks on both sides of the bathroom door to hang clothes would be good. Also hooks on the front doors so you can hook them both open. We took our own wine glasses so having some them there would have been good."

"I booked this cottage as it was a very good price for a one night stay. I’d recommend as it was in a very peaceful area, with a lovely pub that does nice food about a minute walk away. The only downside to the properties area was the internet connection, as data was struggling for connection. The hot tub was brilliant, would recommend to make sure you burn wood straight away as it takes a while to warm up. It was a very cosy night and I’d definitely recommend and even come back again."

"We had a really lovely 1 night stay in the Highland pod at the Cow & Plough. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the pod was well designed, cosy and warm with quite a lot of room for two. It had all the things we'd need for a short stay – only needing our toiletries and food. We found the shower pressure wasn't great but manageable. The large shelf over the bed is handy but also hard to work around. A much smaller one would be better. The location is quiet and rural and we had a reminder to...
