"I thought this might be a downgrade from the main hotel but this was not the case. Apartment was well designed with all the features one might expect. Breakfast was outstanding. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only one suggestion. The power plug outlets could use some instructions as they are not the typical simple plug in types. You need to play around with it to fit the two prongs into the outlet."

Lovely location with beautiful views, however a car would be handy in this location. We had children and no car so found the position of the accommodation on top of a big hill and walking challenging at times but this doesn't take away from overall experience of the guesthouse and it was great excercise for us all. "Usually when I stay in smaller hotels in Germany, they look very old-fashioned and are not very clean. Landhaus Sixtmühle was just the opposite. My one-person room was extremely clean and modern. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and everything from the moment I checked in until the time I checked out went SO smoothly. I can highly recommend this place!"

"The challenge was our arrival, nowhere did it say that check in was at the Dragoner Hotel across the road. Once we figured that out we went from: what did we get ourselves into, to a well done up room. The bathroom was a bit cramped but overall for the price we paid we had a very nice room. Consider having dinner at the Dragoner! Good food, good price. "

"Room was clean but dated, with random screw sticking 1 cm out of the floor carpet, creating a trip/cut hazard. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

The hotel refused a refund and when Expedia approached them on my behalf, they did not answer their phone or e-mails. Terrible customer service."
