"The building was beautiful and the room was nice and big. The view looking out is absolutely gorgeous. The view also in the back is amazing. Unfortunately, their breakfast did not match The view. Also, we thought the breakfast was complimentary and even then I wouldn't have eaten it, but I didn't realize we were getting charged even for the breakfast for how bad it was. "Overall, the staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Ours was a very warm welcome, and help was extended every time we requested for something. We loved the place and would definitely come back again if we got a chance.
Only issue we had was when we were leaving and had to park in the front (had no where else to park) to load the bags. We did end up blocking the bus/road, but 1 Irish hostess asked us to move not in a polite way. We found this very rude, considering that we were guests....
"Loved the balconies and view, close proximity to town and things to do/train to Interlaken, etc. rooms were great - stayed on a hot week so know there is no AC. Wengen is the best and this hotel was a great place to stay with kids, as our room had bunk beds in a separate bedroom. "
"Geweldig leuk en authentiek hotel in Grindelwald. Lekkere kamer met uitzicht op de Eiger, koffie/thee op de kamer, nette douche en prima bed. Balkon erbij was helemaal tof. Ontbijt dik in orde, je kan een ei laten klaarmaken zoals je wilt. Mensen zijn suoer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Ligt wel wat hoger op de berg dus een flinke klim maar dat maakt t ook rustiger."
