"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry. "The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order."

"This was hands down the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and cheery. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The wait staff was exceptional as well. The food was excellent, the setting idyllic, and location walkable to The Chatsworth House! We could not wait to write a glowing review as we cannot recommend this hotel enough! We suggest you give your entire staff a raise as they were top notch and whoever hired them...

"Room a little tired, bathroom had a number of things needing repair, eg. Toilet roll holder, drainage for bath. Room was also a little hot and AC not very effective… outside temp was 23 degrees or so… so when heatwave hits it will be overly warm in room to get a good night’s sleep. Staff very friendly, and hotel atmosphere was good. Didn’t try food - dinner or breakfast, nor tried gym, so cannot comment on those. Only two working ionity chargers due to people having stolen cables… not fault of...
