"It was our first time to Hobart, and we decided to stay at Salamanca Terraces due to its location being close to the wharf precinct and free parking facility. We had a studio apartment. The room size was standard - it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is on a small size - the shower is VERY small in comparison to other places we have stayed at. It'd be challenging for some people, we'd imagine. Location is great - close to lots of restaurants, the wharf and supermarket. Important to note for anyone with mobility issues that the entrance to the property is located on Runnymede St which is on a slight incline, so there is a bit of an incline to walk to Salamanca Terraces from Salamanca Place. We were on the ground floor and found it to be pretty quiet. Surrounding areas are beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Free parking was definitely a big plus!"

"Stayed 2 nights at my favourite hotel in Hobart, the Bay Apartments. Check in was friendly. Bed and pillows comfortable. Love how walkable it is and only a few min drive into the city or casino. Look fwd to staying again."

"Lisa and Andrew being the management team were first class, informative and very helpful. The premises from the outside didn't look promising but upon entering, it had been beautifully renovated and was very spacious. It was meticulously clean and had most things required easily at hand. Such as pots, pans, glasses, cups etc.all clean in the kitchen, also coffee, tea and the odd foodstuff in the cupboards. All information for appliances, heating etc, easily available in a compendium. The beds were very comfy and had spotlessly clean quailty sheets. What really surprised us was the quietness, Sandy Bay is a busy suburb but it was so peaceful and quiet in this property. Wonderful. The only slight downside was the driveway, which was very narrow, once we squeezed our vehicle in, we could not open our doors to get out. We ended up parking outside the house in the very quiet street, so not really a problem. Will definitely be staying here again, highly recommended."
