Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

8/10 Good
"Lobby check in staff was rude. Bruce needs to be retrained on customer service skills. He sounded grouchy and over it just because we booked from a third party system instead of Hilton honors. Some people weren’t as helpful in directions such as the people selling timeshare properties. I asked to point out where the green lawn is and all I got was “over there”. Very dismissive. Cafe and market staff are however very friendly and helpful! They were trained well. Some parts of the hotel needs to be maintained more. Hotel room was clean and hotel was very spacious. Housekeeping was very nice and they made sure to change our towels daily. There were some cracks and dings on the property. The super pool was a little dirty and needs to be cleaned more. The paradise pool was great for the kids! All and in all we had a great experience despite some of the unfriendly staff and cleanliness of the property."

"Liked the central location. And the two pools and the coffee shop. Housekeeping was amazing and helpful. Bar drinks were lovely. Didn’t like that the bathroom door didn’t lock (broken?). Elevators usually very crowded."

"The hotel is older but has been kept up. Recommend getting the oceanview rooms, the city view was noisy from outside traffic and people. Do not recommend eating from the Grille, it's not good food. Overall, I would recommend the hotel but just have realistic expectations."

Oasis Hotel Waikiki

8/10 Good
"The best things about this place were: a bidet, a kitchenette w/kitchen cooking utensils in room, front desk had great customer service (shout out to Joshua), balcony, koi fish/turtle pond, continental breakfast. Some not so desired things; continental breakfast ( my pastry had mold on it that was being served), dirty bathtub upon arrival (had to get Clorox and clean it myself, had someone else's hair leftover and a dirty bathtub ring, yuck!!), NOT soundproof balcony sliding doors (there is a lot of motorcycle/car races/challenges right outside our hotel regularly at 3 am, so always waking up to loud noise disturbances), pool is pretty small. We got a street parking ticket from guidance of their parking valet, $35, so the hotel comped our valet parking for that one night, $47 (in essence, we still paid a fee that night, but to the Hawaiian government instead, joy) The price was lowish, so expect to get what you pay for. Would I go there again? Knowing what I know now, not sure…. But I would ask not to be in the hibiscus tower and facing opposite of Lewers St. It didn’t ruin our trip because we didn't go to relax in the hotel room, but it did have it’s downsides when trying to relax and rest."

"Breakfast had a decent assortment. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. The parking was a bit over priced but thats common for Hawaii so I don’t blame the hotel just be ready to spend 50 a night. The games -dominoes, mini golf, ring toss were great. Get snacks/drinks at the abc store across the street if possible. I spent 14 dollars on two sofas and a pack of starburst. Rooms were smaller than expected but clean and comfy. Was a good stay for what we were doing the breakfast made it worth it for sure."
