"This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park."

"We came to the Market House for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The space was perfect for the two of us. On Saturday we were heading to the Indiana Dunes State Park and walked out to a farmer's market in the parking lot behind the building. We're big hikers so we did the 3 dune challenge, but I saw there was an outlet mall nearby if shopping is more your speed. There's also a tram that runs through the area and into Chicago if you need a day trip to the big city. Easy in, easy out, dedicated...

"We wanted to do some outlet shopping. This lovely old house is right across the street from the mall. It was very clean and well furnished. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood was quiet. We had a lovely weekend."

One small thing, which I feel bad for even sharing because I enjoyed communicating with Michelle and enjoying the home.. but there was ants. I had them crawling on me.. while I was on the couch a couple times.. which had me paranoid etc. They ruined the mood a couple times. "This redone building is awesome! Roomy and has everything you need. Jocelyn is wonderful! She meets you in-person, which I loved! She is close by in case you need anything, but is very respectful of your privacy. The property has 4 units and they all share a common area out back where the hot tub is. The individual fire pit areas were amazing! We will be back for sure!"
