"This property was great! It was clean, the beds were so comfortable and it was very convenient to the concert we attended. The only complaint I have is that I didn't receive the door code until almost 35 minutes after my check-in time."

"This was our first VRBO rental and we couldn’t have been more happy. The vaulted ceilings and ample windows gave this cottage a roomy feel. The property is in immaculate condition and felt as if we were the first guests. The hosts did a wonderful job anticipating our needs as well as our dogs. The south facing porch is the perfect place to relax on a sunny afternoon. There’s even a retractable dog gate. Asheville is an easy 15 minute drive and quaint Black Mountain is 10 minutes."

"Very nice place to stay. Everything was to mine and my husband satisfaction. Getting to bring our fur babies was a big plus. We would rent again. If you looking for something beside a hotel this is your place."

"We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon."

"The property itself was stunning and the unit that we stayed in was great! The location was minutes down the road from the venue itself and the spa, beach, and restaurants. Everything was clean and instructions were very clear."

"Beautiful area with lots of Lake access and hiking! The villa was as advertised and suited our needs perfectly. I only wish the main restaurant was open. It was closed for unknown reasons and I had to drive about 30 mins off property to get dinner. "

"Unit was more spacious than I thought it would be and was very clean. The unit is on the backside of the house with a small screened in porch. It was quiet and has a parking spot that is practically right by the entrance (which makes it easy to load and unload). The bed was comfortable and the unit was well stocked. Additionally, you can’t beat the location as you are in very close walking distance to the heart of the downtown and only a few miles from the highway. Would stay again."
