Cottage Near Ark/Creation Museum

Summary:
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Welcome to my newly remodeled cottage, conveniently located 20 minutes from the Creation Museum and 35 minutes from the Ark Encounter. Set on two acres, but only a 4 minute drive from a wide variety of restaurants, pharmacies, parks/playgrounds and a large grocery store. Relax and enjoy time away in a modern cottage that lives large with an open kitchen/living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,200 square feet.

The Space:
All living spaces are on one level with one step (sidewalk to front porch) access. Maximum occupancy is 6, not including infants. Pets and parties are not permitted.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 has twin sized bunk beds and a queen sized bed with a full bathroom with a walk in shower in the hall.

Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed with a private full bathroom and a tub shower.

All beds are fitted with luxurious linens, multiple pillows (firm and soft) and extra blankets.

BATHROOMS
Bathrooms have towels, washcloths, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped kitchen with pots/pans, utensils, dishes and flatware, as well as a full sized refrigerator, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher and the all important coffee maker and a french press. Coffee, sugar and creamer pods are also provided, but if you don’t want to make your own there are two Starbucks and a Dunkin Donuts a mere 3 minutes away:)

LIVING ROOM
Relax in the living room and enjoy the Roku TV with Netflix (guest’s log-in). Fireplace is non-functioning. Equipped with high speed Wifi and a desk for a peaceful dedicated workspace.

Games and books available or embrace your artistic side and leave us a creative note or picture on the chalkboard and share/tag us on your social media!

Cleaning Protocol: We pride ourselves on an exceptionally clean environment and follow CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing after each guest departure.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire house and grounds.

Please do not attempt to enter the garage. Also please note that the pond at the far end of the property belongs to the neighbor, so please do not use.

The driveway needs to be accessible at all times, so please park off the main driveway in the spaces closest to the house.

Other Things to Note:
No loud noise after 10pm as we have close neighbors.

In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cottage is equipped with two exterior cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior and there are no cameras on the inside.

Check-in is anytime AFTER 4pm (24 hour check-in is available via smart lock, but please let me know if you plan to arrive after 10pm.)

Check-out is by 10am.

Sister trip to the Ark and Creation museum and this location is smack fab in the middle of both so perfect location. Beautiful newer renovated house sleeps 6 easy access to stores and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

Very clean, beautiful property. We visited the creation museum and the Ark. This house was between the two. Owner was quick to respond to a small issue (nothing major). I would stay here again!

Stephanie is a marvelous proactive host with a cozy home to share. We loved everything about the house - beds and linens were top notch. Kitchen was well supplied with all of our needs. Stephanie was always a step ahead of us and I appreciated that. If you are heading to northern Kentucky, choose this location.

Upon arriving we found the property clean. The home is beautifully decorated. Check in process was easy. It was a great location for visiting the Ark Encounter and the Cincinnati Reds game. There are plenty of restaurants close by for some great food. We are happy with our stay.

Overall perfect stay for a short visit to the ark encounter and the creation museum Perfect location between the two and if we had time we would have visited Ohio since it was so close Only thing is bathrooms are super small Bath tub may need a grip bar Mattress in the guest room was great (even the floor one) but the mattress in the master does have a dip in it on both sides Also you may want to get an ottoman for the feet especially after a long day of walking We appreciated the ice in the freezer and the filtered water in the fridge

Stellar experience with this rental. Cottage is in a quiet and easily accessible location, yet close to restaurants and shopping. The Interstate is only a few miles away. The house was immaculate and well-stocked. The beds had memory foam mattresses and comfy linens. Plenty of towels for all guests. I highly recommend this property.

Stephanie made this experience top notch. The home and accommodations where great and all we needed for a family of 6. Well furnished and very clean and cozy was how we felt during our stay. Also, her knowledge of the area and where to send us for groceries, dining out, and local hot spots made us feel like we already knew the area. The home location made for an easy (30 minute or less) trip south the Ark Encounter or north up to the Creation Museum and Cincinnati. All in all a great stay and a great host. Would love to return some day.

This is our second stay with this host and property. Both times were excellent, non-eventful stays with prompt communication from the host that included all the information needed. All the essentials that you would expect are present.For Future Renters:The driveway is one car-width and you'll park in the back tucked up by the house. It may be a little awkward for some to get into a good position to avoid blocking the driveway which would restrict access to the detached garage/separate apartment (not part of the rented property). You should contact the host and make sure you're not going to have a problem if you have multiple cars or something quite large.The television has guest mode which allows you to hook up your accounts. The accounts should get auto-cleared based on the stay schedule if you forget to manually remove them.

Perfect location for airport, city center, Ark and Creation Museum visit. My children wanted to move in forever, especially after rolling down the hills in the backyard. Very clean, lots of towels, attentive host and large kitchen for family dining. It had everything a family needs. If it had laundry in home, it would be 100% perfect! We would definitely stay here again if we are able to return. Thanks for a memorable visit!

This cottage was absolutely perfect. The living room and kitchen are roomy. The beds were great….the linens were great. I liked the blanket so much on the bed, I bought myself one for HOME. Stephanie is precious. You cannot go wrong with this one.

My husband, sister-in-law, & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cottage Near Ark/Creation Museum! Everything we could possibly need was provided! There was a very pleasant, clean odor that greeted us upon every entry - not strong at all, just nice & comforting. We loved the near location to restaurants & retail areas, to “the big city” of Cincinnati, the airport, and The Ark Encounter, the focus of our visit. Yet the house was situated in a beautiful rural setting. We could drive to everywhere we wanted/needed to go in 30 minutes or less! If ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

We came to see the play at the ark, home was well stocked, neat, and clean. The keurig didnt serve hot coffee, and the other coffee thing put coffee grinds in the coffee, they didnt have a regular coffee pot. We bought one for us to use. The beds were not comfortable. But overall the house had everything else you could want and more.

The house was great we loved it nice and clean, Updates were nice was disappoint in in the appearance of the outside. I would recommend that the yard and trimming be done before the next guest and trim the bush on the side back. We were four senior people (68-84) and the living room furniture was not very comfortable for us need arms on chairs to get up easier. The two guys would have preferred recliners so they could put their feet up (poor circulation) LOL. But this is just us older persons. We thought it was a great place and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much..
