"Wij genoten van het verblijf in het rustieke huis. Alles was prima verzorgd, het haardvuur stond al aan bij aankomst.De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat wij nogal lang zijn was het bed voor ons een beetje te kort. Vanaf de veranda is er een mooi uitzicht op de olijfboomgaard en de wijngaard voor het huis. "We were visiting from Canada and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this rustic, authentic accommodation. Thank goodness for accurate GPS to get to the property and through the twists and turns of the VERY narrow roads in town & up the hillside! Ample parking outside the cottage. We all slept soundly and the beds were comfortable and the house was charming. "The cottage location on the river and in the lovely town of Coja was beyond expectation. Each day was a postcard and the town was so welcoming. The cottage was so well appointed that I challenge anyone to find something that the owner did not provide. I highly recommend this location."

"My wife and I spent five days enjoying the quiet and beauty of the Oliveira do Hospital area. Mathew’s farm was the perfect location from which we could explore the surrounding villages, vineyards and mountains of Serra da Estrela. Mathew was the absolute perfect host. He ensured that we had everything we needed in his spacious and beautifully decorated home. We so enjoyed his company, his generosity and the great discussions over wine and cheese. 😊"

Lovely hotel. Fabulous location.
"Gorgeous hotel in stunning surroundings in the Sera Estrela mountains. Lovely, really helpful staff, comfortable room with stunning view of the mountains and the pool. We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights. "
