"The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option."

"My wife and I stayed at the Bryne Hotell after a Burns Supper organized and hosted by the hotel. A very enjoyable event accompanied by traditional music (a visiting Scottish band), bagpipes, whisky, haggis and poetry. A great local band Ållveltes also played later in the evening which made for a fun night. Hope to do it again next year. "We really looked forward to staying here but our stay was absolutely ruined by smokers next door. We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. When we mentioned this in the morning the customer service was appalling with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and asking what she could do. Well; for one thing not have a smoking room...

But don't be put off as there are regular buses and trains going between Paradis station and Stavanger central within 5 minutes of the apartments and a bus stop similar distance. "The biggest problem was the communication with the owner of appartments. They mentioned a whattsapp number for any question or issues while they have not checked it for a couple of dats at all. Also, I have contacted this number oit of whatsapp due to the popr internet coonnection and they did not answered it at all. The bed in the second floor in our room has been built in a non professional way and was not accessible in an easy way. There was a long electricity wire on the top of the stairs...

"We got our key card after getting help from someone staying there as she was walking out the door. Then we had a very hard time getting the door to our room open. The room was adequate but nothing to make it special. We felt like we were staying at the big hotel in the movie “The Shining”. There was nobody around and not a sound. Kind of creepy."
