"Finding the property was easy from the information we were provided. The lodge was warm and cozy, just what we needed with the weather being so bad. The wine cooler was excellent! Just what we needed for New Year's Eve celebrations. The beds were very comfortable."

"We have stayed in Windermere quite a few time but I must say this is one of the favourite places clean quiet and lovely scenery"

"what a lovely cabin, comfy beds and comfy couch after a day of exploring, simply perfect, hot tub added bonus, lovely little gem,"

"Fantastic location in a very picturesque setting with a lovely little river flowing across the bottom of the field. The Shepherds hut was spotless with home made cakes an eggs supplied by the owner. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the chemical toilet smell that seemed to linger around the hut and we had to burn a lavender candle (provided ) to take it away. Not sure if it is normal for it to smell strongly but looking at previous reviews , probably not. "
