"We came to Fish and Frolic with our friends for a few nights with our boat and had a great weekend! There were 8 of us total and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Our hostess was easy to communicate with and responded quickly about our questions about the lake. It was so nice to be able to put our boat in at the private launch and keep it in their boat house. The kids also liked fishing out of the back of the boat house. We kept saying we wish we have made our stay longer. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We just stayed at “On The Lake at South Sauty!” and it was everything we hoped for—and then some.First off, the location is ideal. Just a short stroll (under half a mile) from the South Sauty boat launch, the lakefront views right from the deck are stunning—perfect for mornings fishing and evenings soaking in the sunset.The mobile home is cozy but well-designed for a family of five: two bedrooms (a double in one, twins in the other) plus a shared bath, and a full kitchen to cook up those catch-of-the-day feasts .A fun bonus: entertainment is built in! The den features Dish TV with PlayStation 2 No Wi‑Fi, but honestly, it was refreshing to unplug and reconnect.Bottom line: This is the kind of spot where you come for fishing and family time, and leave with great memories (and maybe a sunburn). Rustic charm, thoughtful extras, and a peaceful lakeside escape—highly recommend!"

"This was a great home base for our girls’ weekend. The house is as gorgeous as the photos suggest, with a large kitchen, cozy living spaces, and comfy beds. We hit Unclaimed Baggage, lunch and shopping in the cute downtown, and then explored Cathedral Caverns. Looks like lots of good hiking in the area but the weather did not cooperate. Victoria was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our questions."

"We were in the area for our 18 year old son to participate in a kayak fishing tournament. We have a 4 year old and 11 year old daughters as well. The house worked very well for all ages. This was probably one of the cleanest houses I’ve rented and I’m very particular. It was very well stocked so cooking meals and grilling was very easy.The fenced it area was nice (to keep kids from just running straight to the lake without us) and it’s very private on the patio / fenced in area side with a thick row of trees seperating the house from the next property. Everyone swam in the lake and fished from the dock. There is a boat ramp literally right around the corner and my husband and son put their fishing kayaks (they are heavy) in at the ramp and peddled to the house dock with ease. You couldn’t back a trailer down to the ramp and their fishing kayaks are too heavy to carry that far. The zip line mentioned in the listing did not look secure as even our 4 year old would drag the ground so we didn’t try that a lot. It also rained a decent amount while we were there but the puzzles, etc inside kept everyone entertained. There was a Publix amd Walmart nearby for groceries. There are other houses right around this house and about 3 RV’s but it was super quiet (we were probably the loud house with 2 daughters)! We did see some dogs running around so be mindful if you have pets to have them leashed.Our family all agreed it was a good little getaway! "
