"We found the house to be rustic-modern. Great retreat for our family as we fished on Caddo. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the property amenities like the canoes and lake front across the street, but it was a big part of the decision to be rent. Comfortable living room for all of us and good wifi made movie watching while off the lake a nice treat (and helped us tackle a remote day working without skipping a beat)."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this rental property. The kayaks were in great condition and taking them out on beautiful Caddo lake, paddling in between the mysterious Cypress trees amongst white water lilies is not to be missed! It’s a remote spot and we appreciated that the owner had thought of little things - dish soap, laundry pods etc. that not all rentals come stocked with. Close to the state park for lovely hiking, overall recommend this for a great and adventurous get away from city life! "

"We had no problems getting our boats through. Kids fished in kayaks and we could see them and not worry. Its quiet and peaceful. If you are planning on having more than 4 or 5 plan during a season people can sleep on the large enclosed porch. Two of our bunch slept out there and we had no problems. Screen doors lock. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"Ohmygoodness! If you want to stay in the bayou, THIS is the place! Weve never been to a bayou before, and the noght noises were amazing! We hoped for an aligator, but we only saw bubbles...and we were still thrilled!"

"This is a great place to stay, the boat ramp is right next door with a $5 launch fee…easy to charge boat batteries, grills, outdoor seating, full fridge and freezer, coffee pot, microwave comfortable bed…we fished and just pulled up on the bank to take a break at the inn and just headed back out….they had kayaks and canoes to use but we had our boat so we didn’t use them but saw others using them….there was a dock that others were fishing from…nice vibe at night with all the lights…would definitely stay here again."
