"This is a beautiful cabin in a prime spot on Caddo Lake! Our grandchildren loved their "game room" as they called it. We enjoyed early morning fishing in our pajamas out at the private dock while we watched the sun rise and had a great time canoing and kayaking in the canoes and kayaks that were provided. It was a pleasure meeting the property owners, great people that were available for any needs. After our magical weekend of making memeories with our children and grandchildren on the most beautiful lake we plan to make this stay a family tradition!"

"I have stayed at a couple of other Oyo hotels; both left a lot to be desired. This one was actually very nice. Cleaned, shower worked, tv had a remote and both worked, mattress was acceptable."

"If there was a way to score 1/2 star I am not sure this property would even be worth that. We booked our stay and received the confirmation from VRBO. But when we showed up our cabin was locked and we could not get in. I called the host and she instructed us to go to the cabin across the street. We did, it was unlocked. We unloaded our things and then received a knock on the door, met a lovely couple who said they were there to check in. I called the host again. She said she didn’t know what to do because she was in Florida and did not have her books with her. We were 6 hours from home ourselves but packed up all our things, again and called it done, we went home. Never stayed on the property and would NEVER recommend any of her properties to another family. Still have note received any refund either!!"

"This is a very quiet and peaceful area on Caddo Lake to enjoy. Loved being able to walk in friendly neighborhood and not worry about safety. There is a cafe with pier you can enjoy a sunset, all within walking distance. The unit is tucked away behind another cabin. Little misleading in photos-thought we would have a large lot. That closeness was not great, but luckily we had quiet neighbors. Some landscape work was needed such as tree limbs trimmed away, grass needed mowing, and trim bushes that were hiding the house numbers. The inside has older furnishings but everything worked just fine. The air conditioner definitely worked and we were extremely comfortable. The view from large sliding doors was peaceful. Had issue with TV but was corrected. Owner Chris came by the second day we were there to make sure everything was working. He apologized for the appearance-but there had been a lot of raining and that certainly slows maintenance. Overall, if you want a place to stay while enjoying peace and quiet on Caddo Lake, this is a good choice."

"What a comfortable home with one of the most beautiful views of Lake Caddo! The location of the home is perfect to both marinas/boat landings on Caddo Lake/Cypress Rd area. We had so much fun kayaking around the lake and walking to the local marina and outpost. Ping pong was also a fun way to unwind in the evenings! It was a very peaceful getaway from our normal routine with beautiful sites of nature around us and the inside of the home was comfortable and clean, with a well appointed kitchen for anything you need when 900 miles away from home! If we didn't live so far away we would definitely be back! The property manager was also very helpful and great in their communcations with us!!"
