"We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "

"Really great hostel! The common areas and bathrooms were very clean, the room was really spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. We got a great view of mt fuji as well. Only complaint would be the heavy smell of cigarette smoke, likely from the previous occupants"

"The staff were, friendly, helpful and willing. The place itself was spotlessly clean, both my room and the facilities. It is within an easy walk of the train and bus stations as well as Kawaguchiko Lakeside. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation, would definitely stay there again."

"Real nice experience and excellent host. Perfect location to walk around. inhouse hot spring is a treat. The host even dive me to the train station at 6:30am. Stongly recommended."

"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "

"石和温泉での宿泊で利用しました。隣の方が大声で騒いでいた際、音漏れはありました。ですが、フロントに連絡して、対応をしていただけました。朝食を利用、ほうとうをおいしくいただきました。 I stayed here during a trip to Isawa Onsen. When the guests next door were being loud, some noise did come through. However, I contacted the front desk and they responded appropriately. I had breakfast, and the hōtō was delicious. "

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "Very nice Japanese traditional style hotel. The location is great, close to the sight-seeing bus line and to the cable car lift. The bath is great, with good views on the 7th floor. it is a pity the room we had doesn't have a view though. The staff are nice, very polite. They also provide car service to and from the Fujikawaguchiko Station, which is nice!"
