The nearest beach is on the other side of the lagoon in the campsite about 600m from the house. For good swimmers, it is also possible to dive from the outside of the pier. To do some shopping it is necessary to travel around 3 km to Bašanija. Bašanija is a small town 6 km away from the center of Umag. In Bašanija you will find shops, banks, post offices, bars, restaurants, fast food and more. Its rugged coastline is characterized by numerous small beaches. There are many varieties of pebble, rocky and sandy beaches with trees nearby to shelter from the sun during the hottest hours of the day. The coast is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation rich in plants of different species of evergreen shrubs, pines, and cypresses.
