The woodland provides cycling routes and walks suitable for all levels, as well as a renowned sculpture trail, a cafe, and a Go-Ape climbing centre. For stunning views of Coniston and the Old Man, visitors can take a stroll up Carron Crag (2.5 miles), which is located nearby. You can also take a short drive to Lake Windermere (8.5 miles) or Coniston Water (9 miles), where you can indulge in a variety of waterside activities such as boat trips and windsurfing lessons. For a more leisurely walk, Tarn Hows (6.5 miles) is a picturesque spot, while the majestic and rugged Langdales are just a short drive away. The village of Satterthwaite (0.5 miles) is a hidden gem in the Lake District, and its quaint village pub makes it the perfect romantic getaway.

Upon entering this characterful cottage, you are welcomed into the cosy lounge area where there’s a Smart TV and wood burner. Next door, the brightly lit kitchen with patio doors makes a perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee. Through the kitchen and into the hallway, the king-sized bedroom is beautifully decorated and makes for a perfect relaxation space where you can grab a good night's sleep. In the mornings, head into the shower room and freshen up in the shower cubicle.

Outside, there is plenty of space to dine alfresco whilst soaking up the stunning views and relaxing sounds of the nearby stream and wildlife.
