Frank the owner of the guest house lovely and great guy. Old property but well maintained. Overall nice place to stay."

"I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful host who showed me to my room and told me about the events of the coming weekend. The pub website says that it can be noisy because they have late night events but up on the second (or was it third floor) it was actually fairly quiet even with the Pride after party going on after midnight. The pub has a small car park that was never full in the week I was there. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Ulverston and within easy walking distance of bus stops for trips to Coniston and Windermere as well as the railway station for trips along the coast. I think the only negative point is one that the Sun has in common with most other hotels, not enough teabags!"
