"No where on their website does it indicate that you must be 21 to check in. My daughter had reservations and was met with a manager with a bad attitude. When she could have simply explained the situation instead of being rude and saying we're not letting you check in. I called and spoke to an uneducated employee who told me to look at the site for the age. Which again is not listed. He procedeed to tell me i can change the name to my daughters friend who is over 21. I did that and then they told them they dont see the reservation at all. Although i sent them the reservation invoice and reservation number with the friend name on it. Needless to say i had to call who i made the reservations with to call the hotel for me. Which then they were able to check in almost 2hrs later and a lifetime of embarrassment for those young ladies. So there will NOT be a return visit."

"This was our second stay here, since we came last fall during the government shutdown. This time we got to visit and see EVERYTHING we came for, and this cottage could not have been a better base for us. The proximity to the Metro was one of the key factors in our choice the first time, but this return visit was a no-brainer. Such a comfortable place, with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Having two bathrooms was great. Our hosts did a great job of preparing a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!"

"I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience at this hotel. The online description is completely different from reality—it feels more like a motel. The rooms are old and outdated, there is no pool, and the overall condition does not match what was advertised. It is also very strange that this property appears to operate under two different names (Days Inn and Super 8) at the same location, which feels misleading. The biggest issue is safety. Someone tried to open my room door, and the same happened to other guests from my group. There is clearly no real security. Homeless individuals were entering the hotel despite a security door, going into the breakfast area, taking food, and walking freely through the hallways and up the stairs. Staff tried to remove them but were unsuccessful. I personally encountered individuals who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. There were even police and firefighters at the hotel, which adds to the concern. Breakfast was unacceptable—only black coffee, sliced bread, and butter, even though I paid for it daily. After most guests left, they suddenly offered better options. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. I do not recommend it, especially for women traveling alone."
