"As many other reviews state, this is a clean, accurately described and charming rental. Our host was very responsive. They leave clear checkout instructions on the wall. The swimming spot is everything we hoped it would be and we spent many hours there. Lake Jocassee is serene and an awesome place to swim. Side excursions included: a boat tour with Southern Outlaw, on another day saw Upper White Falls, hiked Rainbow Falls (strenuous but worth it). The Gorges visitor center is nice. On a rainy day, we were able to see and walk the Stumphouse tunnel and see a Issaqueena falls in the nearby parking area. We then checked out Seneca and a putt putt at Oasis. It’s so covered with botanical plants that we didn’t get very wet! Made a stop at Mellow Mushroom which is a short drive to Clemson from there. We circled back around on the way home to drive by some of Keowee lake. Just adding all of that because we feel this rental is a perfect distance from everything we did. We went grocery shopping before and only ate out twice. The kitchen is very capable! Plenty of dishes, pans etc. Thanks for sharing the tiny house!!"

"The place was so perfect. The location and the house its self was so cute and had everything we needed. Very peaceful and I appreciate how when my plans changed you accommodated my needs. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing pets."

"Our Family had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was very comfortable and the accommodations were great! Actually, it is more beautiful, then the photos depicted. It was clean and well stocked with everything. The Host, Mr. Don Doggett is a great communicator and so easy to work with. He was so accommodating and wanted to make sure our Family had an enjoyable stay. He made sure there was space available, for our Son to park his pontoon boat and that was very important to our family. Mr. Don definitely gets a 10 rating. Our family would rent this property again. Our only disappointment was the Bunkhouse. It is such a beautiful building on the property and our family would have loved using it. Even though it has AC, it has a musty smell, so you couldn't really enjoy hanging out in it to get out of the heat, take naps or sleep in it. All in all, thank you Mr. Don, for making your beautiful home available, for others to enjoy, like our Family."

"We enjoyed our stay overall. This home is very convenient to the lake, and having the park pass included made getting in quick and easy. The home was clean, organized, and ready for our arrival.Our only concerns were with the bed. We noticed previous reviews mentioning the mattress, and unfortunately it still hasn’t been replaced. It was very uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The comforter was also very lumpy, which didn’t help with the overall comfort.Overall, we appreciated the convenient location and enjoyed our time at the lake."
