Away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Mangalore, this is a relatively secluded beach. Colorful fishing boats 🚣, beautiful view of the sunset 🌅and some soul searching on a huge rock outcrop (not in pic) extending into the sea 🌊 - just some few things that this beach offers. For the history buffs, it's also famous for the nearby temple of Lord Shiva, which was apparently built at the order of the King 👑 of the Alupa dynasty in 10th century A.D. 😱

Food 🥘 for thought: Don't forget to try the local version of the snack "bhel", which is made out of puffed rice, vegetables, spices, coconut oil and tangy tamarind sauce

"The proximity to most places was an advantage. The breakfast was simple but fairly good. The personnel at the front desk and Lawrence were very accommodating and understanding. The room too was fairly clean, though baby cockroaches are an issue. On my second day I noticed a couple so requested the reception to get room service to clean and spray. I was rather disappointed that the breakfast was cold the first day, but after letting the front desk know, it was good the next few days I was there. The driveway was being re-done when I was at the hotel. So I could not park on the premises. Though , there was a driver to valet park and get the vehicle for me when needed. That was good-Thank you. Overall a good stay. Thank you! "
