"Like the cafe/bar in the basement. The 2 buildings across the street from each other makes it a bit inconvenient, for instance, to get to the kitchen from hostel room if they are located in different buildings. Otherwise, clean, nice, comfortable."

"Very well organized, everyone was friendly, loved the no shoes policy and provided slippers!, the communal living room space with tables and couches to relax on, the large kitchen and refrigerator to access, and the rooms/beds were great too. Very easy to find, close to metro and bus routes, near the river too which is so pretty! Would stay again!"

"Stayed for a few nights, coming back late at night and leaving early in the mornings. The private room was clean and the shared areas and bathrooms were also clean. I did wish the private room had a lockable door, but lockers are provided for free. The hostel was nice and quiet at night and I didn't wake to loud noise while sleeping. Necessities for shower are provided and towels can be rented cheaply if desired. I did wish the water got a little bit hotter, but it was warm and the pressure was...

"This hostel beats any hotel/ hostel I’ve stayed it. It is well worth the value. Lockers are spacious, staff is friendly and hard working, the amenities like breakfast, towels, slippers and laundry are a great touch. beds are spacious and comfy and I like that there was a designated smoking area on the premises. The only thing is the internet is a bit wonky but overall amazing stay! "

"Good wifi. It's pretty convenient to train and bus lines (the 28 City bus picks up across the street and the Hankyu train line is around the corner) and it's about 10 minutes from the bridge. Note: the breakfast is served at a cafe around the corner, but only from 9-11, so you may need to schedule your day accordingly (or don't sign up for breakfast and plan on eating elsewhere). "It’s very close to Gion station and the Main Street. The hostel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. If you don’t want to keep your bags in the rooms you can leave them downstairs in an area that is secured by cameras. I recommend staying here if you want to be close to Yasaka shrine, Kiyomizudera, Kodaiji temple, and Kenin Ji Temple. Even the popular restaurant Kichi Kichi omurice and bars are a 10 min walk away. "
