"The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had stunning views and the facilities overall were excellent, new and very well maintained. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. This is truly a fantastic place that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka, far away from the chaos and mass tourism."

"Fantastic property and fantastic experience. We have nothing but high praise. Loved the family unit with the tent on top and separate room downstairs for the kids. Here’s a word of warning though regarding getting there….its not an easy ride up from the village on a very narrow very poorly maintained road. Not for the faint hearted. It also takes a good 30 minutes especially if you need to use the tuk tuks to get up."

"I was not well so this may colour my view. I was not prepared for the very long steep walk to and from our room which made me think twicw about going anywhere. Curtains which were huge were full of dust and everything smelt of and was penetrated with incense. Food was basic and over priced. Without transport and travelling a long distance there was no where else to go to eat or get snacks. No alcohol. Some very purist guests who told us off several times for talking. Now the positives....
