Best Western York House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff are all friendly, polite and helpful. Most especially Oscar, Duane and Dirrin who went above and beyond. I casually mentioned that a chair of some sort in the shower of the accessible room would be helpful. Within an hour a shower chair joined the non slip mat in the shower. My accommodation was clean and beyond reproach. I've got a couple of return visits booked, because I'm so comfortable staying here."

East Beach Hotel

"Mostly good. The room was really hot as you couldn’t open windows at night due to the noise from the road outside. The shower was ok. Toilet and sink separate from it. Towels could be a little bigger but were changed on request. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful."

"Lovely hotel, fantastic location, local staff, so doesn’t feel like a chain. Stay only spoiled by one idiot who felt the need to be swearing loudly after his meal, (the c word is unacceptable anywhere), while sitting at the bar in the restaurant. Young team leader tried her best, but the absence of a senior manager on a Saturday night to throw the fool out was a great shame."

"Good location for the Channel Tunnel and amenities in Ashford. Good breakfast. TVs need an upgrade in the rooms though! Bathroom ok, not amazing"
Extraordinary Huts

"The Hide Out was exceptionally clean which was a bonus in our case as both my daughter & I are allergic to animal hair and I'm sure many pets have accompanied their owners at times. We spent a most enjoyable couple of nights. Only drawback, the dangerous entrance and in particular, the exit to the site."
