I’m rating this as budget accommodation, rather than vs luxury. This was excellent budget accommodation. We “ran away” from another place in Ubud at about 9pm and booked a night here. For $20 or so for a night, it was just what you needed, clean, quiet, bed. It’s not fancy but it is solid accommodation and I would stay again if looking for inexpensive accommodation.

I had a nice stay at Satya House. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning. The location was very convenient to many restaurants, bars, spas, and shops so getting around was very easy. Well worth the money and I would definitely stay again.

Satya House on Jalan Hanoman strikes the ideal plave to stay and promote balance between traditional Balinese charm and central convenience. It's set back enough from the main road to serve as a peaceful retreat, yet puts you within walking distance of Ubud’s top spots—just 10 minutes to both the Sacred Monkey Forest and the Ubud Palace. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, complete with strong AC, reliable hot water, and a private terrace overlooking the garden and pool. What truly elevates the experience is the host family and staff, whose genuine warmth and hospitality make you feel right at home with local shopping facilities once you step outside. We had an amazing experience.

Great location in the center of UBUD, access majoy sites, shops and access to taxis. Pool was amazing after a long day in the sun. Surprised how quiet it was considering we were right off the main road. Great price, amazing breakfast and coffee.

Our stay was AMAZING! Check-in was easy, the room was immaculate, and staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast each morning to start our day and the pancakes and fresh fruit were a smash hit! Thank you for the warm hospitality and for going above and beyond. Central Ubud

Perfect location, plenty of cafes and restaurants just outside this accommodation. Yet it's very quiet as the property is going deep inside behind the main road. For the price they charge, it's good value, clean room, pool and breakfast.

The Satya house has beautiful gardens and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Outside each room there is a reception area with chairs and table, so we can sit and admire the garden and listen to the birds. there is a lovely swimming pool. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, temples, market, etc. Staff are kind and the Breakfast was nice I highly recommend The Satya house

Wonderful hidden gem.

A fabulous little property, superbly located and close to everything .Multiple dining options close by. Staff were faultless. If I had anything that may be an issue for some.The beds are quite firm but I had no issue sleeping.
