The rooms are traditional Balinese cottages - so paper thin and you can hear everything. Lovely terrace to sit out on. The location is great, lots of good eating places/ cafes around. The place is clean and bottles of water every day. Wifi wasn't great, but ok. Pool is small but enough and it is a nice area.

This was our second stay at Sama’s cottages and we will be back again! Great location, lots of places to eat and shop in the area. The staff at Sama’s are very helpful, the gardens, pool area and Jepun spa massage is excellent and a great price. Sama’s is the place for you if you like a quiet boutique style of accommodation rather than a large resort. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found a little oasis. Peaceful, with helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. The place is walking distance from the mayhem of the main Ubud attractions. The associated cafe (Gluten free on Bisma) has a small but great menu, very tasty local dishes. We will definitely be back!!!
