"We stayed as a family of 4, and we really enjoyed the home, the accessories, and the location.The blue house has an upstairs loft, but we didn't realize it would be crawl on your knees height. Our son is fairly tall, and he opted to sleep on the couch because he was concerned about hitting his head. That said, daughter slept up there and both mom and dad went up andndown without problem. The stairs are a very large height, but if you pay attention you should be fine.The kitchen area has great supplies. We travel with a few things since my husband is a chef / sommelier, but there were some nice utensils (kitchen knife) and thoughtful details on the pots/pans and coffee area. There is a 2-eye cooktop, a microwave, and Keurig coffee statin inside. There's a propane grill outside, but you'll need to use the lighter in the house because the ignition doesn't seem to work. On the porch, there's a picnic table for outdoor dining with a beautiful view of the river. There is also a fire pit (that we didn’t use) with two chairs to relax. To the side, there's a nice campfire area (we didn’t use this either).Behind the house and directly up the hill is a rather strenuous hike to Buzzard's Roost (seriously, 3 miles one way that gains 1300 feet). You can walk from the house, or you can drive down to park on the road and access the Stone Mountain Trailhead there. This is a great spot, and we do plan to return in the future. "

"We loved our stay, removed from the Gatlinburg crowds, in this lovely, immaculate cabin. It was perfectly situated for our many hikes in the Smokies. This is a well appointed cabin where all of our needs were more than met. Highly recommended!"

"My brother and I recently traveled to the area for business and personal reasons and this cabin was perfect for our trip. It was more than spacious for the two of us and could have easily accommodated 2 couples with children. The cabin was super clean and was situated on a nice piece of property. What I loved most was how quiet and peaceful the cabin was. It gave us the much needed serenity to recharge after our busy days. The added amenities like the TV, WiFi, fire pit, BBQ and hot tub provides much to do for anyone who decides to spend more time at the cabin than we were able to. The communication between the owners and I was excellent and Christine was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good stay. I would love to stay here again and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Eastern TN and the Smoky Mountains area. "

"This cabin is absolutely adorable! It is well equipped for a 2 night stay. Secluded (though there are a few other cabins near by within walking distance it feels very private). The host is VERY responsive to all messages and also lives near by "

"It's a unique space with the spiral staircase and the wrap around porch. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed putting together some family meals. The bedroom bathroom combinations make for separate spaces for everyone. Lots of space to gather including the hot tub. "

"We loved it here. The view was amazing. The cabin was clean and stocked. We did have some minor communication problems at check in but the rest of the weekend we had no problems. We will definitely be coming back!"

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful log cabin in a quiet and peaceful setting. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the bubbling stream and pasture. Our dog even had fun trying to figure out what the cattle and horses were. For me, the highlight was watching a tom turkey walk along the stream one morning gobbling a challenge to other toms in the area. The lanes into the area were narrow and reminded us of Ireland’s backroads which are a little over a car width wide. Trying to pass a school bus was real “fun”."

"Small and pleasant log cabin in a less-travelled area about 40 minutes East of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin was clean and organized when we arrived. Enjoyed 7 days of silence and nature during our stay. Saw a total 6 bears (not at the cabin, just during the trip)!"

"We really enjoyed our stay!! We were in the area for a wedding. It was me and my grown children and their children. My daughter has 2 grown children and my son has 2 small children. We all had plenty of room as well as separation of space with the 3 levels and bathrooms. It was a great stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area. "
