"This is a beautiful hotel/pub with a breath taking view over the Dyfi estuary. Set in cottages built in 1750s it has lovely nooks and crannies and quirky floor levels but the beds and bathroom are all first class. Notes worth knowing, the Hotel is 100 yards from the Penhelig request train stop but the hotel does not have a carpark. There is a public carpark around the corner at £15.75 a day or a few on road parking free 6pm to 9am."

"The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one night. The water pressure on the second floor is fab…but the noise from the pump really is annoying. The hotel only has an emergency contact number and no overnight staff so by 11pm when you realise that the pump is going to be jolting you awake regularly there is no one that can help."

"An adorable chalet. Completely set back up in the hillsides. Beautiful views, amazing views. Incredible at night. Perfect for a family reset, no tv or wifi so you talk, get to know each other again. Especially after a tragedy when someone needs to talk. Brought us peace. My dog absolutely loved it too. Beaches are a drive away. Perfect evening walks. Picnics in the day. Perfect for the budding photographer. Everyone is so friendly. Completely away from all the traffic your head is used to. X I will be booking again "

"we had a most wonderful time at this property. Everything was clean and comfortable and you clearly put in effort to ensure a comfortable stay. I enjoyed that it had everything necessary but was not cluttered with extra things that children could damage! We loved the spacious living room area and the modern and clean kitchen was a dream. the balcony off the master bedroom was a real lovely bonus- we enjoyed listening to the sound o f the waves every evening. the children enjoyed the horses at the back of the garden and the view was just amazing. overall our stay was fabulous and I'll definitely consider rebooking again in the future. the host responded very quickly with any questions we had. overall excellent experience for all ages."
