Quiet getaway

Great location. Not far into Tybee so the beach was always quiet. Condo was great. Everything you need is there. Only suggestion is to add pot holders for the oven. I had to use the towel to get an item out of oven. Balcony has clear view of the ocean so having morning coffee was a great site. Pool was clean and walk to ocean was easy. Wonderful place to getaway and relax. A great trip all and all.

Great Getaway

We had a great stay! Dolphin view from sunrise to sunset from the room & beach. It was a magnificent view & everyone was very nice! Would definitely return!

Beautiful sunsets and easy access to pools and beach

The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Entry and exit process easy. Third story position enabled BEAUTIFUL SUNSET views. Elevator made packing in and out a breeze. Pools enjoyable. Laundry equipment worked well, but process would have been easier if we brought our own quarters. It took a couple of stops at area businesses to get sufficient quarters. This in no way is the fault of the property - just something for us to remember for our next trip here and hopefully helpful for ones coming to this property. We look forward to our next stay!

Peaceful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The over all property is well maintained and safe. The pictures are accurate and the view is breathtaking and will make you want to sit on the balcony and take it all in. The beach area is very nice because it is not crowded at all. It is a bay view so it doesn't have waves but it's still very peaceful and relaxing. We have no complaints about our stay and enjoyed it very much. It is a very quiet area and no one bothered us. If i had to pick something that needed improvement, it would be that the bathroom is small. Overall i think its just the building design though. These buildings are nothing new or fancy but I would highly recommend this rental. You will not be disappointed

Not up to par

The tile floors were sticky. You could not walk around without shoes. Biggest surprise. We were scheduled to stay 5 days and four night with occupancy of two adults and were only given a total of 4 wash clothes and 4 towels. Only 1 comfortable chair to sit on the deck. We stayed in the same complex last year and had a great experience. We were looking for a king bed this visit. This is the reason this unit was chosen. Will not go through Vrbo or owner rental. More stipulations than with the rental company we used last year and last year condo was more updated and nicer. We left early from the rental.

Great Views!

My husband and I stayed for a week in April. The condo is comfortable for a couple and nicely appointed. The views of the bay are wonderful and we enjoyed watching dolphins and ships and boats come and go. Nice long stretch of beach to walk. The kitchen is fine for cooking meals. The king size bed is comfortable. The bedroom wall has been removed which makes the bedroom feel larger but when you come through the condo door, you look right at the bed. There are several beach chairs stored in the condo. The complex is nicely maintained and the pools looked very nice (too cool to swim but nice lounges for sunning). There are two tennis courts and one dedicated pickleball court. When visiting around the island, there are parking meters so bring quarters! We ate dinner at 80 East Gastropub and highly recommend it. Easy 20 min drive to Savannah. We would stay at Sun-Setter again. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars: the bathroom needs updating, faucets old and hard to use, tub/shower is uneven on the bottom, refrigerator was noisy at times, and we only had one key (could have used two).

It's ok!

We rented this condo, and it was less that what we expected but it was ok. This unit is on the third floor and has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins play. The unit itself is very small. When you open the unit door you are in the bedroom which took us by surprise. The bed was excellent. The bathroom is small, and the shower needs to be updated. It had some cracks in it. The handle on the sliding glass door was broken off and awkward to open. You can't check in until 4 and when we arrived shortly after 5 the white card that was supposed to be in the lockbox was not there so we could not get through the gate. We called office left message, emailed and after 30 mins or so we finally followed behind another car to get on the grounds. We finally found out that a small disc attached to the key chain was a new way to open the resort gate. The lock box is a hard to open and close, need to be replaced. Overall, the unit was fine as we were only there for a couple of days.

Tybee Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the island. The only complaints I have is the refrigerator makes a crazy, loud noise. Also, not a lot of options on the tv, maybe cable needs to be updated. Loved the space, it was perfect for my husband and I and we will be back!

We just left and I wanted to give some feedback on the room I’m not going to put on social media but it really was bad There is mold in the room the mirror in the master room is covered on mold on the back of it and mold on the shower curtain Everything inside is so outdated for the price that y’all charge The only good thing was the view It really needs to be cleaned good with bleach We go to alot of places all over and this was a 1 rate place to stay Some friends of ours were staying in the a building and had to be loved because the mold was so bad it was making them sick and their upgrade move was amazing and beautiful so this 305 needs to be fixed I wouldn’t rent to anyone else till mold is gone

Pricey sunsets

The property is old and outdated. The shower wouldn't get warm for twenty minutes or so of running. Why are all the nozzles backwards? The shower and sink in the kitchen were just backwards. The toilet is so low to the floor you practically have to sit on the floor to use it and in such a tiny space half of you needs to hang out in the shower part to be comfortable. The balcony was nice but the chairs were so uncomfortable you could hardly sit in them for longer than 30 minutes. Would have been nice to know about the elevator at the other end of the property before bringing all our belongings up 3 flights of stairs. They also make you wash the dishes before leaving who does that? Isn’t that what the cleaning service is for? When we first got inside the counters had drink rings on them like no one had cleaned them. Forget about renting a golf cart to go riding around on because they don’t allow them, ridiculous. We stayed a week and that’s a week too long. Insanely expensive and that’s ludicrous for the crappy place we stayed in. Will never be back to this place. We paid less for a nicer, cleaner and dishwasher on the south end last year.

Beautiful Tybee Island Beach view in a Comfortable Condo

The place is as described and was a pleasant stay for my wife and me. All other guest and local business folks we meet were very nice. We had a great visit and want to come back to Tybee Island. The down sides? The check-in procedures were clear and easy to follow until it became time to find the condo. For the first timers on the property it is not obvious where the specific building was or where the entrances to the buildings are. We found it after maybe 10 minutes, but a map would have been helpful. The room was clean but well worn and could use some TLC. The biggest surprise for regular VRBO renters is that we’ve become accustom to property owners over delivering on things like kitchen supplies and use of beach chairs and bikes. This property delivers as described, but there were no pleasant surprises. Maybe it is because the property is managed by a company vs. a private owner? Not a big deal, but it is nice NOT to have to go to the grocery store after a 12 hour travel day.
