The condo was clean. Main issue was that we were unable to rent a golf cart due to property not allowing the carts on site. Easy check in/check out.

Amazing place for a quiet getaway

Location was great very short walk to the beach. I would come back for sure the family had a great time! Its very quiet in the North end of the island. The beds are a little uncomfortable and the hotwater is very limited but the condo was very cute and has all the essentials. The balcony view was pretty great..The only downfall that I felt should have been communicated better was check in as at another location. Google maps/ GPS will take you to the wrong location. We spent a hour figuring out where to get checked in at. After that little hiccup everything was smooth sailing and worth the confusion.

The location is amazing. The unit layout is fine, but it was dinghy. The furniture is worn and stained. There was something like soda all over the front of the refrigerator. We called about it, and soneone came out to clean it, but left without any explanation. There wasn't any follow up. We discovered ants in the bathroom and water bugs in the living room. Disappointed in this unit, but we'll return to the complex.

Small, but good

The condo is very small, but in a good location. There is little view of the water, due to the dunes, but the bridge over the dunes is right outside the door. The thermostat is a bit frustrating, as it is not easily viewable and does not respond immediately as my home one does. This resulted in an after hours call for assistance. The man who answered my call was very helpful and resolved our problem within a short time. I recommend this condo for small groups. Warning that the balcony at night is active with no see'um bugs. I learned to only use it during the day. Thanks for the place to stay while my daughter and I enjoyed the beach and Savannah.

Lovely place

I didn’t give this property 5 stars for a couple of reasons. But first I’ll note all the good things; the location is great and quiet. You are right on the water and close to the pool. The condo itself is perfect for two people, the balcony is a nice little relaxation spot. The only negative things I would like to note are the beds- we almost packed up two nights in because we were incredibly wrecked from attempting to sleep. If you have back problems, we don’t, do not choose this one. This is our second condo at this property and both times it has been the same. We love the property other than this aspect. Only other issue was a drainage problem with the shower, we didn’t notice until the last day there was a number to call for maintenance. Overall this place is a great location and nice and quiet for a getaway.

Great stay

Cute little condo. Tiny stove, but there really isn't room for a larger one. It was just 2 of us so it worked for us. They could use some hot pads in the kitchen to get your stuff out of the oven. Bathtub needs some caulk/grout replaced. It has mold/mildew. It also needs the shower curtain replaced. It had black stuff growing on one corner. Overall, good place to stay. We have stayed in this condominium complex before, but this is the first time in this unit. I loved the fact that it is an end unit right next to beach access. The complex does need to install ramps to access the beach. We would rent this unit again. Only real issue is that the check in time is so late. You lose essentially your whole first day.

Construction Zone

The unit next door had construction going on due to water damage. No one notified me about it, it was intrusive and could cause possible fall hazards. When I called a managing partner disregarded the concerns and initially was extremely rude and dismissive to my concerns. I spent three days of a four day vacation dealing with this situation.

Great Experience

The place was how it was described online. The ramp to the beach was right at the room. When we arrived the tub was clogged with hair and sand. We called and maintenance arrived within 30 minutes and fixed it quickly. I do recommend putting a shower at the ramp on the other side (opposite to the pool) to help people rinse off before going to their room. This will help with cleaning and sand not clogging the plumbing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the room!

The check-in was easy. The dates were available that we needed. The bunk beds were not full twins as advertised. The pull-out sofa bed did not sit level. Access to beach was excellent. Able to see/view much sea life. Easy access to parks and stores.

Great location and place!

We LOVE staying at the racquet club when at tybee, it’s the only place we stay. The staff is so nice, the pool is amazing and the beach is great especially for kids bc it is so calm! (We like to visit north beach for bigger waves which is so close) Really my only complaint for this condo is cleanliness was a little lacking. The floor was pretty filthy and our feet were black pretty immediately when we got there. We had a 8 month old crawling baby with us and her knees and feet were black.. the rugs were also pretty filthy and very sandy which I get it is the beach lol! But maybe could be replaced as they looked pretty old and gross. We ended buying some swifter mop pads during our stay so it was nice to have the swifter there to use :) that would really be my only complaint is better cleaning. It was awesome to have a dishwasher and we were very happy with our stay! The rental property staff were really nice too and easy to get ahold of if needed (we really didn’t need much!) * one more thing is bring some salt and pepper if you plan on cooking there. And large trash bags as well if you fill the trash pretty quick! Thanks for a great week, we love Tybee!

Needs TLC

The Beach and Racquet Club was an older, but well maintained, small condo complex. The walk to beach was convenient and the beach area was beautiful and quiet. We saw lots of dolphins and other ocean life. The sunsets were magical. The unit itself (108B): We really wanted to like it. It looked cute and eclectic in the photos. In person it was run down and looked cluttered and grimy. For example, we covered the couch in sheet to feel comfortable to sit on and shower/bathtub walls had mildew. The balcony door was incredibly difficult to open and close. The ocean view was not much of a view since the dunes were covered in taller foliage, but you could see a small slice. The unit could be great with some paint, new furniture/rugs/throw pillows and bath renovations. The rental company: The checkin/out process was overall ok, but the checkin time was ridiculously late (we got in at about 5:15 p.m.) I've never heard of a checkin that late. They did provide plenty of towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap and linens, which was very nice not to have to run out for those little items.

Location!

Beautiful location. We enjoyed the pools and the beach. We saw dolphins every day and loved the calmer water. The only drawbacks were that it could have been cleaner (rugs looked like they've never been washed) and the pull out bed/couch was very uncomfortable.

Family Vacation

Overall property was great. Photos on website misleading on the view. Ground floor balcony view is blocked by shrubs and trees. Inside of condo fine for a few days. Little cramped for 4 adults. Room not available at check in time. No packet ready for rental. Then had to make several phone calls to finally get a response. Because the office was closed even though the website, sign on door and person I spoke with the day prior indicated the office was suppose to be open.

Nice property, needs update

Had trouble finding the office at first, plane was late and office closed. When calling the emergency after hours, I could not leave a message as the mailbox was full. Finally found the office, retrieved check in package. At property we were met with an owner that was mad that the gate code was going to change daily, we had only one and he insisted we should have a gate pass, not a code. The code never did change, and April called me back to arrange to get a pass, which worked fine. The unit itself was okay, needs updating, at least a good cleaning. There was sand on the floor, a dirty sock and a used qtip. There were stains on the furniture, and two area rugs that need to be at least washed....really gross. The bed, while comfortable was really noisy, every move you made and it would wake the other sleeping, so sleep was a struggle. Other than that stay was great, love the area.

Great location tiny space

From a family perspective the property was clean, safe, and in a great spot near the access. I enjoyed being an end unit and on the first floor. My downfalls weren’t deal breakers but enough I’d share. The unit is pretty tiny. It’s a great layout of space but with 5 people in the unit we were really close and on top of each other. The other downfall was that the hot water never seemed to last when we were all trying to get cleaned up from the beach, thankfully we were sunburnt so it wasn’t unbearable but it wasn’t ideal. Lastly there are no ceiling fans and if you like noise when you sleep there isn’t any- except people coming in late.. we ended up playing a white noise on our phone and it helped. Overall not deal breakers we had a great time and being right by the access allowed for me and youngest to run up for bathroom breaks and grabbing things if we left them. Thanks for letting us stay!

Cozy condo for young family

The location was really great- the first condo close to the beach access and just a quick walk to the beach. Made it really easy to run back up and grab forgotten items, etc. the condo was tiny but cozy! Kids loved the hallway bunk beds.
