Peaceful Cottage on Lake Michigan

Spring is here at our peaceful cottage on the Lake Michigan shoreline!
Book now to relax and enjoy this beautiful time of year around the waters and changing forest at our vacation property set up for two.

Enjoy solitary beach access right from the backyard, explore and search for beach glass, fossils, rocks and yooperlights at your own leisure! Out of the front yard has direct access to over 10 miles of meandering trails in the Raur West Forest to hike, bike or ski.

Just a short drive of under 5 minutes to access the Point Beach State Forest with miles of walking trails, well maintained bike trails and rustic ice age trails.
Cottage is a 7-mile short trip to Two Rivers through the forest to the grocery, restaurants, and groomed beaches.

The cottage is always very well maintained, we keep the place top notch clean and always try to provide the needed essentials for your stay. Including a food pantry with essentials and snacks. And a stocked refrigerator with all unopened new essentials for your stay. Bathroom is stocked as well with towels and all cleaning essentials.

The cottage is set back down a long blacktop driveway from a low traffic road and is one of the last few true quiet places around that will provide a wonderful relaxing stay all to yourselves. With the large yard overlooking the lake you will be able enjoy everything it has to offer while BBQing, having an outdoor picnic, or playing outdoor games including cornhole.

All we ask is that you try to keep the place clean and have a great time! There is no hidden fees or cleaning fees or chores to do except wash your dishes before leaving.

This was either our 3rd or 4th time staying here. We love this place! The property owners / mangers are the best - they have the place fully stocked for you - even providing some eggs, drinks, milk and bread. Plus, they roast their own coffee beans which they also provide for your stay and it’s our favorite coffee now.We love how private this property is. We were able to watch all the wildlife that’s around this property. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and getaway from everything then you need to stay here.

Charming house in a stunning location

Great getaway spot

Relaxing Get Away

Nice cozy place with a great porch or beach to enjoy the sound of the wind in the pines or waves of Lake Michigan and unwind. Great place not far from town but out in the woods. .

Perfect getaway for two!

Peaceful Escape...

We love coming back to this place to enjoy the quiet beach, wind in the pines or just relaxing inside reading our books on a couch. There's plenty to do in the area and it is close the town for any activities there although the highlight of our visits is being disconnected and relaxing together.

The pictures do not do its justice. The land that this Cabin is on is gorgeous. The cabin itself was spacious and so clean. The owners are extremely gracious with the amenities I will absolutely return.

Perfect New Year's Getaway

It felt like a home - it was well stocked to meet all our needs. Lots of helpful notes in the house with ideas of things to do. The location is fantastic right on the lake and with easy access to the school forest.

Wonderful home with jaw dropping views!

The host was great and the home is super clean. Mornings with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise, exploring the beach, and watching the deer stroll through the property was some of the highlights. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to recharge, this is it!

Relaxing Getaway

It was a very cozy place to stay, and we appreciated the effort that the owners put into ensuring it would be a pleasant stay (e.g. the house was very clean, it was stocked with food and drinks, and it had pamphlets/magazines with information on activities available at the property and nearby towns). The beach was also easy to access, and the surrounding area was beautiful. We would definitely recommend it to any couple seeking a relaxingly quiet getaway.

Beautiful retreat

The hosts had everything we needed and more in this cottage. It was extremely clean. Hosts were very accommodating. The view of Lake Michigan is beautiful. The beach was peaceful. We only saw 2 people at a distance. We will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and family.

Peaceful getaway

We had an amazing time. The cottage is clean,comfy, and well stocked with anything that you may need. We relaxed and enjoyed our time together on the beach and just sitting together on the porch. We are already planning our stay here again next year. One of the best stays we've had.

Lovely Place to Stay

This place was just as described. My husband and I loved sitting on the back deck, and enjoying the fireplace. This place was jam packed with little goodies and entertainment. I thought the little extra goodies were so thoughtful. We loved the record player. The beds and couches were firm but they supplied cushy throw blankets for guest use.

Amazing

We loved it here! First off the hosts were amazing. The property is absolutely beautiful! We saw a herd of deer, a fox den, heard a fox, found some cool rocks, looked at the stars and really enjoyed our time. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed and we will absolutely be back. Thank you for being the best hosts ever! Also the arcade games were so fun we ended up buying one!

Cottage on the Big Lake

Very nice location with lots to do on and off site. Being on the lake is wonderful for swimming and relaxing. Point Beach State Forest is close and has a great bike trail. Dining options are plenty at the cottage or at area restaurants. We made cherry desserts from the cherries we picked in Door County. Russ and Levi are great at stocking the cottage to meet your needs. They are the best VRBO hosts that we have experienced! We plan on booking our 3rd stay at this property during 2025.

Our New Favorite Vacation Spot

A spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated cabin in the woods, leading to a very private Lake Michigan beach. Thoughtful and delightful added touches that included man drinks, snacks, food staples, toiletries and entertainment. Especially loved the delicious coffee, arcade,bikes, yoopers, an eagle soaring past at sunrise and enjoying the music of our youth. Not enough room to fully describe but hope to return! Rejuvenated!

We've stayed before and have touched on the wonderful details. This trip for us was needed and rejuvenated us. In addition to the owners being the most generous people who truly care, we needed the ambiance of the cottage. If you are familiar with "mindfulness" you have what you need. The smell of the coffee, the waves crashing the beach, the wind whistling thru the trees, the warm fire and extra food treats all allow you to relax and spend undistracted time together. We are so truly thankful to get away from everyday life and just "be"...

This property is Amazing!

This cottage delivered on all aspects. The photos are true to the property. This is the best of both worlds, woods and water! It is so clean and comfortable. I have never encountered a host who stocked the fridge and pantry. So very thoughtful. We booked 3 nights but wished we had booked more. We spent one day at Lambeau, a super easy drive if you are going to a gamee but want more than a hotel room. We will definately do this again. This would be incredible whatever time of the year you chose. Also the coffee is so delicious! 10 out of 10!

Second Time Staying Here and Already Planning On Our Next Stay There

Since this was our 2nd time staying here we had planned on going out to explore the surrounding cities. But as soon as we walked into this cottage we remembered how peaceful it is there, so we only left the cottage twice to pick up some food at the grocery store. If you are looking for peace and quiet to decompress from everyday life this is the cottage to stay at! You’ll feel like you are in the middle of a forest but with a very short walk to the beach in which you will feel like the only people there most of the time. The cottage is very clean - the bathroom is large with a nice large shower and the mattress is very comfortable (not too hard and not too soft). Also the owners are very nice and respond quickly to any of your questions.
